La borrasca / The squall – a poem in Spanish with English translation

Como lluvia oscura
caen en mi pecho sus cabellos.
Destella y truena el remolino
de su cuerpo por encima del mío.
En el dulzor del vórtice
un solo pájaro busca abrigo.
Puede sentir el tiritón, el lloro.
Sobre el llano pasa la tempestad.

(translation)

Like dark rain
her tresses fall onto my chest.
The whirlwind of her body
flashes and thunders above mine.
In the sweetness of the maelstrom
a single bird seeks shelter.
She senses its trembling, its weeping.
Over the plain the storm passes.
