Tanka – change

hosta flower-stalks
now dry thin wands   wind-struck sway
in the half-moon’s light
the leaves but weak  supine ghosts
of last summer’s heady days

  1. Love this. We have a number of hostas that fade under the snow and re-emerge during a thaw, over and over…over and over.

  2. Thanks for dropping by again, and leaving a comment. Yes, hostas are marvelous, as are so many plants. Enjoy!
