sodden earth    leaves  dark
brown relics of last year’s growth
soon to come: rebirth

risqué paired haiku

her body’s gateways
like pink daylilies  open
to his probing tongue

his morning glory
in her honeyed mouth’s confines
joggles    love’s bouquet

haiku – transfiguration

mouth on mouth    bare flesh
slick with sweat    flush with power:

tanka

time is but a dream
with fits and starts    speeding up
slowing down    ending
finally with a loud crash
or just rolling to a stop
