like a planet circling the sun
around you I move a planet
among planets I never tire
your attractions impel me onward
your radiance is my only light
but in your order which planet am I
Mercury the closest
or the farthest Pluto –
if Mercury let me live
forever in your flames
if Pluto ice-bound I die
far removed from your loving fire
