loving foolishness

by knowing you   I’ve shed my churlishness
your gracious manner and your beauty
have quite remodeled me
into a man of finer feelings
and so then  I say:
may I be the steady breeze
so as to kiss you endlessly
to embrace you without pause
to cover your body with mine
yes by night   by day  may I be the breeze
