With Age Comes Wisdom (in tribute to M.M.B.)

When I asked her about Trump,
the old Italian-American woman smiled.
She said she was in her 105th year,
soon to begin her 106th.
“Counting the ‘cafone’ we have
in office now, I’ve lived
under eighteen presidents,
one great one, a few others good,
some bad – but none as rotten
as the fool in the White House now.
The one we have now is a ‘schifoso’,
a ‘testa di zucca’, a ‘truffatore’.
I’d rather vomit than say his name.
And his family is a gang of bandits,
no better than the phony bastard
that fathered them on the bellies
of shameless women. He and they
have made a mess of everything they touch.
They have ruined this country I love so much.
If he is re-elected, I really would want to die,
so as not to see what other deviltry he’ll do.
May he burst like a skewered pig in the flames!”
She smiled again, and winked.
