Ngọc Lan – Jade Orchid – you have fashioned
from the deserts of our solitude
a dominion of care and devotion,
a realm of wonder and earthly delights.
Fate joined us in those quiet moments,
that refuge from the rage and din about us
all those years ago, in the midst of war.
From the heights of those sublime moments,
we saw the glory, the shame of both our races.
You were silent, oh shining eyes,
as I took your gift, offered my past in return,
as we sealed our future with thrilling kisses.
During such quiet moments Fate brought us
closer amid the din and rage around us.
Life flows through us and now beyond.
Your love built this, our life; made this, my poem.
